Acceptable Use
[01] Purpose & Integrity
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the guidelines for accessing and using EVOLUM — the tools, the project rooms, the deal rooms, the festival calendar, the casting board, and every other surface operated by Developum AI Engine. We require every user to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the creative work and people on this platform.
[02] Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
- Infringe Intellectual Property: Upload screenplays, treatments, music, photographs, or any other creative work for which you do not hold valid rights, licenses, or permissions. Submitting another writer's script for analysis or deck-building is grounds for immediate termination.
- Abuse the AI Layer: Submit prompts, instructions, or inputs designed to extract model weights, bypass safety guardrails, generate output that would be illegal to distribute (CSAM, defamation, targeted harassment, fraud-enabling material), or otherwise misuse the underlying AI systems.
- Exploit Security: Probe, scan, test, or attempt to breach our infrastructure, our authentication system, our database, our payment integration, our agent endpoints, or any other component of the Service. Coordinated disclosure of security findings is welcome at madbradsmith@gmail.com.
- Distribute Unsolicited Content: Use Project Rooms, Deal Rooms, comment threads, in-app messaging, or any platform feature to send spam, unsolicited pitches, mass marketing blasts, chain messages, or phishing links to other users.
- Impersonate or Misrepresent: Pretend to be another filmmaker, actor, investor, supporter, agent, or company. Fabricate credits, awards, festival selections, or attached talent on a project. Misrepresent the status of a deal, the source of funds, or the identity of a backer.
- Harass or Discriminate: Direct hate speech, harassment, threats, doxing, or discriminatory conduct toward any other user, on or off platform. Engage in retaliation against users who report violations.
- Defraud: Use the Service to solicit investment under false pretenses, misrepresent the nature of a project or its expected returns, launder funds, or violate applicable securities, tax, or anti-money-laundering laws.
- Resell or Reverse-Engineer: Resell, sublicense, scrape, or systematically copy the Service or its outputs. Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
[03] Enforcement & Suspensions
We reserve the right to review inputs, outputs, logs, and billing records to investigate suspected policy violations. Where a violation is found, we may — depending on severity — issue a warning, restrict specific features, suspend the account, or permanently terminate access without refund of the current billing period. Serious violations (IP infringement, fraud, harassment) result in immediate termination without warning.
[04] Reporting Violations
If you believe another user is violating this AUP, or you witness conduct on the platform that concerns you, report it to madbradsmith@gmail.com. We read every report, we follow up, and we keep reporter identities confidential where we can.
[05] Coordinated Security Disclosure
Security researchers who find vulnerabilities are encouraged to disclose them privately to madbradsmith@gmail.com. We commit to acknowledging within 72 hours and to credit researchers in our release notes when a fix ships, with their permission.
[06] Updates
This Acceptable Use Policy will evolve as new surfaces and features come online. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
